Heating Help Ohio ("we", "us") is operated by Oretu Agency. We help Ohio homeowners request furnace and heating quotes from a local HVAC contractor. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it and your choices.
What we collect
- Information you give us through Facebook/Instagram (Meta) lead ad forms or the form on this site: name, phone number, email, ZIP code, the heating issue, furnace age, whether you own the home, your timeline and best time to reach you.
- A record of your consent to be contacted (date, time and form version).
- Basic technical data our website host or ad platforms may collect, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited. Meta's handling of data on its platforms is covered by Meta's own privacy policy.
How we use it
- To pass your request to a partner contractor so they can contact you about an estimate.
- To confirm your request, check lead quality and prevent fraud or duplicates.
- To keep records of consent and opt-outs.
We do not sell your information to data brokers or post it publicly.
Who we share it with
We share your request with one partner HVAC contractor, the one named in the consent wording when you submit. We also use service providers that help us operate (for example, form, spreadsheet, email and text-message tools), who may handle your data only on our behalf. We may disclose information if required by law.
Calls and texts
If you check the consent box, Oretu Agency and the named contractor may call or text you about your heating request, including with automated technology or prerecorded messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also ask a caller to stop or email us. We will honor opt-out requests promptly.
How long we keep it
We keep lead details for as long as needed to deliver your request and handle billing or disputes with the contractor, generally no longer than 6 months, and keep consent and opt-out records as long as needed to show compliance. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, subject to legal record-keeping needs.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing dan@oretuagency.com. Once your request has been passed to the contractor, they hold their own copy under their own privacy practices; we will forward deletion requests to them.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure.
Children
This service is for adult homeowners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Where this applies
This service is offered to homeowners in Ohio, United States, and is intended to be governed by U.S. and Ohio law.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
